Secretary of the Washington state association for decades. Kempton also served as junior commissioner and a soccer correspondent for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Kempton, who was born in Northern Ireland and came to America as a young man in 1910, played for teams in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver and Prince Rupert before retiring as a player in 1934. Inducted in 1950.
