Soccer Hall of Fame Closed for Concacaf Gold Cup Matches at Toyota Stadium
FRISCO – Toyota Stadium, home to the National Soccer Hall of Fame, will play host to an international doubleheader on June 20, prompting the temporary day closure of the Soccer Hall of Fame. Concacaf Gold Cup play will feature Group B matchups with Costa Rica playing Bermuda and Nicaragua facing Haiti in the group stage. Nicaragua will play Haiti at 6:00 PM CT and Costa Rica and Bermuda will close out the doubleheader at 8:30 PM CT.
As a result of the event, the National Soccer Hall of Fame will be closed for normal business operations on Thursday. The Hall of Fame resumes regular business hours on Friday, June 21.
The Concacaf Gold Cup is the official national team championship of the region which crowns the best national team in North America, Central America and the Caribbean. This is the first step of the 2022 FIFA World Cup cycle. The competition takes place every two years with this year marking the 15th edition of the tournament that runs from June 15, 2019 to July 7, 2019.
