National Soccer Hall of Fame Announces 2021 Semifinalists from the Builder Ballot
FRISCO, TEXAS — The National Soccer Hall of Fame released the names of the Builder Ballot semifinalists for the Class of 2021.
The Builder Ballot is the path to the Hall of Fame for coaches, referees and contributors that have made their primary contribution to the game in a non-playing capacity.
The Player Ballot and Veteran Ballot selection process that considers players will begin soon. Veteran semifinalists will be released next week. The finalists for all three ballots will be announced after the conclusion of the screening process in early February.
The 25 Builder semifinalists were selected by the nine-person Builder Screening Committee. The next step in the Builder election will be for the Screening Committee to narrow the field to 10 finalists. The 24-person Builder Voting Committee will vote on the 10 finalists to determine which Builder, if any, are elected.

Clive Charles and Lincoln Phillips, who were considered from the Builder Nomination List, each received votes from the Screening Committee and have been added to the permanent Builder Eligibility List.
The 2021 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is scheduled for May 22 and will honor both the Class of 2020 inductee Carlos Bocanegra, 2020 Colin Jose Media Award Winner Andrés Cantor and all 2021 inductees. The ceremony will take place in the National Soccer Hall of Fame, which is powered by NEC, followed by the Hall of Fame game between FC Dallas and an opponent TBD and a concert featuring Willie Nelson.
