Defender who played 11 seasons in the North American Soccer League. Wilson played a total of 299 NASL games for the Vancouver Whitecaps, Chicago Sting, New York Cosmos and Toronto Blizzard. He was chosen as a first-team NASL all-star three times, in 1977, 1979 and 1984, and won an NASL championship in 1980 with New York. Wilson played 57 full internationals for Canada and captained Canada in its three games in the 1986 World Cup. Inducted in 2003.
