Defender who was one of the stars of the U.S. Men’s National Team in the 1940s and ’50s and of the Kutis powerhouse from St. Louis. Keough’s 19 games for the United States were highlighted by the 1-0 victory over England in the 1950 World Cup, a game in which he was the star of the American backline. Keough, the captain of the Kutis team that won the U.S. Open Cup in 1957 and the National Amateur Cup six times in a row between 1956 and 1961, played in the 1952 and 1956 Olympics. Inducted in 1976.
