Midfielder who played nine seasons in the North American Soccer League and captained the U.S. Men’s National Team in World Cup qualifying. McBride played five full internationals for the United States, three of which were World Cup qualifiers in 1972. He was the first American-born player to sign with the NASL and played his entire NASL career for the St. Louis Stars, appearing in 175 games. Inducted in 1994.
